SHrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner
The Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner will be held on Tuesday, February 17, in Cowan Hall.
The dinner will be served from 6:15–7:30 p.m., with take-out meals available beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The menu will include pancakes, sausage, applesauce, and beverages. All are welcome to attend this community event as we gather on “Fat Tuesday” before the start of the Lenten season.
Donations are appreciated and will support the various ministries of Suncrest UMC.

Ash Wednesday Worship Services
SUMC will observe Ash Wednesday on February 18 with worship services at noon and 6:00 p.m. Both services will include the imposition of ashes.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal. The church’s Lenten theme this year is “From Dust to Dawn,” a journey of faith that begins with the reminder of our humanity and moves toward the hope of God’s renewing grace.
The noon service will also launch the Lenten sermon series, From Dust to Dawn. In addition, Lenten Luncheons will be held each Wednesday at noon in Old Drummond, with lunch following at 12:30 p.m.
All are welcome to enter this sacred season together at Suncrest UMC, 479 Van Voorhis Road.

LENTEN LUNCHEON SERIES
SUMC will host a weekly Lenten Noon Luncheon Series beginning during the season of Lent. The series, titled “From Dust to Dawn,” will be held each Wednesday at noon in Old Drummond, located at 479 Van Voorhis Road.
A brief worship service and message will begin at noon, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. The schedule is designed to allow working individuals to participate and return to work within the lunch hour.
All are welcome to attend this meaningful midweek opportunity for reflection, renewal, and fellowship during the Lenten season.
